Meet Genderscope’s Directors Revolutionising the World of Gender Consultancy.
Sinem Hun (She / Her) - Director, Head of International Development Partnerships
Sinem started to practice law in 2005 and has been working in the human rights sector, focusing mainly on anti-discrimination law and the protection of marginalised and disadvantaged groups. She works with LGBTQ and women NGOs and has extensive gender consultancy and gender audit experience in the field. She holds a MA degree from the College of Europe (2005) and MSc degree from the London School of Economics and Political Science (2013) in Human Rights. Amongst others, she had project-based engagements with the Council of Europe, European Commission, UNDP, UNFPA, Amnesty International, ILGA-Europe, Transgender Europe and European Council for Refugees and Exiles. Sinem leads the processes of international procurement, tender and grants procedures in relation to gender audits, legal consultancy and sustainable development at Genderscope.
Yael Nevo (She / Her) - Director, Head of Business Partnerships
Yael has been engaged in gender work and study for over 18 years. She is a Gender Consultant, Speaker and Trainer working internationally. Yael holds a BA in Art History and Philosophy from Ben Gurion University (2003), MA in Critical Social Theory from the Hebrew University (2012) and MSc in Gender and Human Rights from London School of Economics and Political Science (2013). Some of her previous engagements include Amnesty International (Israel), the Consortium on Gender, Security and Human Rights (US) and the LSE Centre for Women, Peace and Security (UK). Yael is a strong believer in the power of the private sector to bring about a paradigm shift in relation to gender equality in business, entrepreneurship, VC and beyond, and leads the development of business partnerships as Genderscope, providing gender audits, gender mainstreaming policy consultancy, keynote speeches, and group and one-on-one training.
